Delivering peace of mind.
Justice Served
Four fundamental principles that apply to every client are:
1. A commitment to responsive communication. I believe that clients should have my personal cell phone number and feel empowered to call me after hours when it is important to them. In my experience, clients never abuse this trust and are very respectful of my time. However, when something is urgent, they know that I am only a phone call away.
2. A clear understanding of my fees before the engagement begins. We discuss what the costs are up front, so there are no surprises.
3. A process of discussing solutions to a problem in a discrete manner. In my experience, the best solutions are found when both the client and the lawyer can speak frankly about a situation. It is important to create an environment where creative ideas and solutions can be evaluated in a free-flowing manner and either kept and developed further or tossed aside for something better. This process is the cornerstone of my practice.
4. A brief telephone call to start. If you are on this website for the first time, you have most likely been referred to me by someone you trust. Our relationship begins with a short conversation to see whether I am best suited to help. When I cannot help, I will tell you and then suggest other lawyers with the expertise to handle the matter.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
NEGOTIATIONS & CONTRACTS
While my formative years in practice were spent as a litigator, I quickly learned that clients are best served by sound written agreements in order to avoid the expense of going to court. Additionally, knowing how to win in court has armed me with experience as a negotiator to help clients successfully resolve matters as quickly and efficiently as possible.
ADVICE FOR REAL ESTATE HOLDINGS
LLC FORMATION & REPRESENTATION
"What is required to start a limited liability company?" "How many rental properties can I have in one LLC?" "What happens to my personal assets if the LLC gets sued?" "What is the role of the statutory agent?" "What paperwork does my LLC need to maintain in the event there is a lawsuit?" I help clients navigate the process of starting new businesses and address each one of these questions and more on an individual basis.
